Vivianna Mobius

Mobius is the only mathematical shape that has only one surface and one edge. The outside becomes the inside, which becomes the outside endlessly. The form symbolises the balance between our inner and outer selves and reminds us not to forget our true essence.

Designed by Vivianna Torun Bulow-Hube in 1968. She subscribed to the philosophy that what is functional is beautiful. Torun's designs have become legendary and are exhibited at several museums worldwide including the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
